Being YOU is brave. What's interesting is that we often are trained out of just simply being so much so that it feels more normal to wear masks and morph into what is needed or accepted.
This theme came up several times recently while working with clients. What was exposed was that several managers were actual called to be leaders and launch out into the deep of entrepreneurship but they'd become so used to managing and organizing others dreams and visions that they'd lost sight of their own. Can you relate?
Although every situation is unique, there are things that no matter where we find ourselves on the journey we can practice to facilitate personal leadership and create more freedom on the way to where we want to be.
One of my favorite teachings is from Don Miguel Ruiz called the 4 Agreements:
Be impeccable with your word
Don't take anything personally
Don't make assumptions
Always do your best
You'd be surprised at how much static and drama we'd clean up just by honing these skills.
