A vision gives purpose to your pain, direction to your steps, and a reason to keep moving forward. It’s the thing that transforms frustration into hope, setbacks into setups, and dreams into reality.
Victory in Vision: Shifting From Sight to Spiritual Vision
Most of us think vision is about what we see with our eyes, but true vision goes deeper. As one of my mentors says, “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened.” Vision starts within—it’s spiritual, powerful, and transformative.
Helen Keller said it best:“The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.”
Many people have clear physical sight but lack the spiritual vision to dream, plan, and execute on what God has placed in their hearts.
What Vision Requires
A DreamVision begins when frustration with what is creates a passion for what could be. That divine frustration—the feeling that you’re not satisfied with where things are—can be the birthplace of holy vision.
A PlanThomas Edison said, “A vision without a plan is just a hallucination.” Vision demands execution. Dreams are only realized when paired with action.
PatienceEvery vision has an appointed time. Just because it hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t. Waiting on God is part of the process.
How to Turn Vision Into Reality
1. Climb the Tower
If you want a God-dream, you need to go higher—both spiritually and mentally.
Climbing the tower is about getting into God’s presence through prayer and worship. It’s in these moments of connection that you gain His perspective and clarity.
Isaiah 55:9 reminds us:“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
In the presence of God, you see beyond your circumstances. You see purpose in your pain and direction in your frustration.
2. Make It Plain
Once you’ve caught the vision, write it down.
This step is simple yet so often overlooked. Writing down your vision gives you clarity and direction. It transforms abstract ideas into actionable steps.
Why Write It Down?
It serves as your roadmap.
It helps you stay focused and motivated.
It gives you marching orders for the journey ahead.
Pro Tip: Keep a journal or notebook to document what God reveals to you. Even if those dreams haven’t come to pass yet, you’re preparing for the moment they will.
3. Be Patient
Patience is often the hardest part of the process. It’s easy to get discouraged when dreams seem slow to materialize, but remember: every vision has an appointed time.
Isaiah 40:31 promises:“Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength.”
Instead of striving in your own strength, trust God’s timing. Use the waiting season to prepare yourself so that when the vision becomes reality, you’re ready to step into it.

Vision isn’t just about achieving goals—it’s about becoming the person God created you to be. It’s about living with intentionality, aligning your dreams with His plans, and allowing divine frustration to propel you into action.
