You Are Very Powerful: How to Activate the Power Within You



I want to remind you of something today: you are very powerful. Not just strong. Not just capable. But powerful beyond measure.


I know life throws challenges at you that seem bigger than you—dreams that feel out of reach, obstacles that seem impossible, struggles that make you wonder if you have what it takes. It’s easy to shrink back, to feel intimidated, and to believe the lie that you're not enough.


But here’s the truth:

The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives inside of you. (Romans 8:11)

That means:

✔ You’re not fighting battles alone—God is backing you up.

✔ No obstacle is bigger than the power working within you.

✔ You are already equipped to overcome whatever is in front of you.

A Miracle Can Simply Be a Shift in Perspective

Sometimes, the biggest thing holding us back isn’t the challenge itself—it’s how we see ourselves.

When Solomon became king, he probably felt unqualified. His father, David, was a legendary warrior, but Solomon wasn’t a fighter. He didn’t have battle scars or victories on the battlefield. And yet, the Bible says:

"Solomon took firm control of the kingdom, for the Lord his God was with him and made him very powerful." – (2 Chronicles 1:1)

God made him very powerful—just like He has made YOU very powerful.

The real question is: Are you walking in that power?

How to Activate the Power of God in Your Life

If you want to start seeing that power at work in your life, here are three steps to take today:

1. Change Your Self-Talk

What you say about yourself matters. If you’re constantly saying,

🚫 “I’m not good enough.”🚫 “I can’t do this.”🚫 “I’ll never get past this.”


You’re canceling out the power inside of you.

Instead, start declaring:

✔ I am strong. I am equipped. I am anointed. I am powerful.

✔ I am not stuck—God is making a way for me.

✔ I have the strength to overcome every obstacle in front of me.


Key Scripture: "The power of life and death is in the tongue." (Proverbs 18:21)

2. Look at Your Challenges Differently

Are you magnifying your problems instead of magnifying your power?

A little boy once turned his telescope around so his bully looked tiny—and suddenly, he wasn’t afraid anymore.

Maybe you’ve been looking at your challenges through the wrong end of the telescope.

What if instead of seeing your problems as huge, you saw your God-given power as greater?


Say this out loud:

👉 This situation is NOT bigger than my God.

👉 I may not see the way, but I know God is making one.

👉 If God is for me, who can be against me? – (Romans 8:31)


Key Scripture: “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

3. Step Out in Faith

You don’t have to wait until you feel powerful to act like it.

Power is activated when you take steps forward—even when you’re afraid.

Deborah, a mother in Israel, changed an entire city because she refused to believe she was ‘just a mom.’


Ask yourself: What could shift in my life if I started stepping into my power today?


Key Scripture: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7)

Your Next Move: Take One Bold Step Today

I want you to think of one area where you’ve been shrinking back—whether it’s:

🚀 A dream you’ve been scared to chase

🚀 A challenge you’ve been avoiding

🚀 A situation where you’ve been doubting yourself


Now, decide:

✔ What’s one step you can take TODAY to walk in your power?
